Increase membership, certification, attendance for AMSN: The chapter has 3 new members. Everyone continue to encourage membership and meeting attendance.

Community service: Canned food was collected at this meeting. 24 can of food and $20 were collected and donated to the Lynchburg Area Branch of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

Med-Surg Medley Planning:
Date: ACCN is having their conference on October 5. The AMSN convention and Magnet convention are in October. Try to find a date in September. Judy and Cindy reserved the First Colony #1 for September 10.
Vendors: We need to make sure we're meeting all requirements for vendors in the contact hour application form before we contact any vendors. The contact hours could be in jeopardy if we don't follow the guidelines.
Planner: We need a planner from PNDD to attend all planning meetings. Juanita will look into becoming a planner or ask the clinical educator from DRMU.
Registration fees: AMSN members: $50, 1/2 day: $30
Non-members: $60, 1/2 day: $40
Students: $30, 1/2 day: $20

Educational Program: Post-Mastectomy Complications, National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer, Kara Lamb, MSN, OCN
