A poster display about AMSN and the Blue Ridge Chapter was included in displays about various nursing
organizations for Nurses Week at Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, VA on May 8, 2001.
The Chapter participated for the third consecutive year in Senior Awareness Day held on May 15th at River Ridge Mall in Lynchburg, VA.
20 volunteers helped throughout the day completing blood pressures, blood sugar checks and giving out health information.

Kathy Claybrook, Melissa Jacobs, Ann Sharman, Fe Taylor, Rebecca Fus, April Burton, Nancy Price, Cathie Tschetter, Kathy Brown,
Shirley Staton, Dreama Frazier and Christy Doyle participated. Approximately 250 glucometer checks were done.
The Chapter thanks Centra Health, The Medicine Shoppe and Abbott Laboratories for their donations.
