New Business:
Community Service: Nicole Younger presented a community service opportunity. She is planning health fair at Prayer Faith Temple, 3100 Hill Street on October 16 from 0900 - 1400. There will be mobile mammography, health speakers, blood pressure screening, review of correct use of child safety seats, etc. Chapter members can help with blood pressure and blood sugar screening.

Topics: Renal failure and sepsis
Renal Failure: Dr. Lockridge and Brandy Rawlins are confirmed as speakers. Dr. Giles has been contacted, but is not definitely confirmed.
Sepsis: Jeff Duncan, Linda Jenkins and Dr. Hardison are confirmed as speakers.
Publicity: Email flyer to all of Centra and contacts outside Centra. Cindy has emailed a save the date notice to Centra nurses and will submit to Centra notifications.
Food: Need to let Nutrition Services know 3 days ahead of time. The 3 choices for the boxed lunch includes Croissant sandwich (choice of ham, tuna or chicken salad) served with fruit salad, choice of cole slaw, mustard potato salad or shell macaroni salad and a brownie. $ 4.25
Membership: Suggestion to give discount on registration fee if they join our chapter. Non-member Registration: If 3 or more register together, give them the discounted fee of $50.
Packets: Juanita will put packets together.
