The Chapter raffled a basket of "Virginia's Finest" items at the National Convention in Phoenix. Tickets will
were sold for $1.00. Some of the items in the basket included honey from Lew's Apiary in Spout Spring
Uncle Billy's Steak Sauce from Lynchburg, Colonial Virginia Country Style Bean Soup Mix from Norfolk,
Dreamy Dill dip seasoning from Ivy Hills Farm in Hurt, Alpenglow Sparkling Cider from Linden, Wythe Honey Mustard
from Williamsburg, Green Tomato Relish from The Farm Basket in Lynchburg, Virginia Peanuts from The Peanut Patch in
Courtland, and a hand crafted metal cluster leaf tray from Virginia Metalcrafts in Waynesboro.
The basket was won by Donna Dorwald of Pennsylvania.
The Chapter also sold pocket calendars for the year 2000. These calendars have a light green cover with the AMSN
logo on the front. They were available at the chapter's table at the convention for $2.50 each.
