MEDSURG Nursing, The Journal of Adult Health is the official journal of AMSN. It is a peer-reviewed journal published six times a year and includes continuing education articles, discussion and description of clinical issues in adult health/medical-surgical nursing. It is included with membership.

Med-Surg Matters is AMSN's bi-monthly newsletter. It includes information about AMSN events, chapters and educational articles. It is also included with membership.

AMSN’s Scope and Standards of Medical-Surgical Nursing Practice describes the responsibilities of all RN’s practicing in adult health nursing practice. It can be used as a reference for job descriptions, performance appraisals, peer review, certification activities, etc. It is available to AMSN members for purchase at a discounted price.

AMSN’s Core Curriculum for Medical-Surgical Nursing is a reference for nurses preparing to take the medical-surgical nursing certification exam, and is a reference for staff development activities and individual professional development.

Medical-Surgical Nursing Overview and Certification Review is a CD-ROM course now available to aid in preparation for the medical-surgical certification exam. It can be purchased from the AMSN website.
